1. Service Scope

SAI LUBAN LTD specializes in cross-border transportation for plastic machinery parts and related commodities. We provide full container load (FCL), less than container load (LCL), air freight, international courier, land transportation, and multimodal transport services.

The default place of departure is designated production bases in China (e.g., Zhejiang, Guangdong). Door-to-door pickup from other warehouses or addresses may be arranged upon mutual written agreement. Destinations cover major global trading markets, including North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. We support delivery to customer-specified locations such as warehouses, commercial addresses, or overseas warehouses of cross-border e-commerce platforms.

2. Cost Explanation

Shipping costs shall be subject to the rate stated on the order confirmation page. The cost includes basic freight, export customs declaration fees, origin loading and unloading fees, ocean terminal handling charges / airport handling charges, and storage fees within the agreed period (normally no more than 7 calendar days; overtime storage shall be charged at actual cost).

The above cost does not include import duties, VAT, consumption tax, customs clearance fees, inspection fees, delivery fees, remote area surcharges, or other additional charges in the destination country/region. Such fees shall be borne by the customer. Prior to order placement, the customer may consult us for integrated services such as “door-to-door delivery with customs clearance and duties included” (priced separately). We will clearly disclose the detailed cost breakdown and excluded items upon order confirmation to avoid subsequent disputes.

3. Transportation Timeframe

The transportation timeframe shall be subject to the final confirmed shipping order. Reference for standard transit times:

  • Sea freight (China to major ports in North America/Europe): 15–45 working days
  • Air freight (China to major global airports): 3–10 working days
  • International courier (DHL/UPS/FedEx, etc.): 3–7 working days

The actual timeframe shall be determined based on departure point, destination, transport mode, and customs inspection conditions.

We shall not be liable for delays caused by force majeure (natural disasters, wars, air route controls, port/airport strikes), changes in customs policies, incorrect/incomplete/expired clearance documents provided by the customer, non-compliant packaging, or the customer’s failure to pay destination taxes promptly. However, we will notify the customer of the latest progress, delay reasons, and estimated recovery time within 24 hours via email, SMS, or telephone, and provide necessary assistance (e.g., document templates).

4. Loss/Damage Compensation

From the time the goods are received and dispatched from our warehouse until signed for by the designated consignee, in the event of damage, loss, shortage, or contamination, the customer must submit a written claim to us within 48 hours of receipt (24 hours for fragile goods), supported by photos, packing lists, and proof of delivery. Failure to claim within the time limit shall be deemed acceptance of the goods in good condition.

Compensation standards:

  • If the customer truthfully declares the value and purchases insurance (rate: 0.3%–1% of declared value), compensation shall be based on actual loss, up to the declared value.
  • If no value is declared or no insurance is purchased, maximum compensation shall not exceed three times the freight (capped at 5,000 RMB per shipment).

We shall not be liable for inherent quality defects, natural wear, improper packaging, false or incorrect declaration, force majeure, detention or destruction due to destination policies, or loss caused by the customer/consignee failing to inspect goods promptly after signing.

5. Rights and Obligations of Both Parties

Customer’s Rights and Obligations

  • Truthfully declare product name, specification, quantity, value, and material; do not conceal or misdeclare (especially dangerous goods and prohibited items).
  • Provide packaging that meets international transport standards and destination regulations (moisture-proof, pressure-resistant, shock-resistant).
  • Provide complete and compliant customs clearance documents in a timely manner.
  • Pay freight and other agreed fees on time.
  • Cooperate promptly with destination customs clearance (supplement documents, pay taxes) to avoid detention due to customer reasons.

Our Rights and Obligations (SAI LUBAN LTD)

  • Select qualified and reliable carriers (shipping lines, airlines, couriers) with proper equipment and professional teams.
  • Comply with laws and regulations of the origin and destination countries; legally complete declaration, inspection, and booking procedures.
  • Track the entire transportation process and provide a real-time tracking link or waybill number.
  • Respond to customer inquiries within 2 working hours during business hours and assist with unexpected issues.
  • Be fully liable for direct losses (including goods value and re-delivery costs) caused by our improper operations (e.g., wrong routing, poor handling, non-compliant declaration).

6. Customs Clearance and Special Instructions

  • We provide full export customs clearance agency. Destination customs clearance is the customer’s responsibility by default. We may recommend local brokers at the customer’s cost.
  • For plastic machinery parts under special regulation, the customer must provide valid certificates in advance to meet import requirements; otherwise, the customer shall bear risks of detention and fines.
  • We may reasonably optimize routes based on capacity or policy changes but shall notify and obtain consent from the customer in advance.

7. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, taking into account applicable laws of the destination (e.g., CISG for EU, UCC for the U.S.).

Any dispute shall first be settled through friendly negotiation within 30 calendar days. If negotiation fails, either party may file a lawsuit in the competent court at our registered address, or submit to the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) for arbitration in Beijing, in Chinese or English.
